Running The Event
Running a Portrait Event
- With your camera connected to the computer and set up to place JPEG images into the source folder specified in the Program Settings, take an image of your subject.
- The image will appear in the main screen and a thumbnail in the thumbnail section.
- An order form is immediately printed (if printing is currently enabled - see Special Operating Modes) with the proof image on it, unless you have selected more than one image per order (see New Event Details or More Controls) in which case the order form is printed when that number of images has been taken.
- If you are happy with the picture, give the order form to the subject or their guardian/teacher, otherwise throw that form away and take another image. Note if you have selected a pause in the New Event Details you have time to delete an unsatisfactory image before the order is printed.
- If you are associating groups with portraits (see More Controls), then before taking your first image and whenever you change the group you are taking, click the Select Group button in the Control pane to select the associated group.
- Continue taking images until you are done!
