SID (Sales Information Database)
Although we might be taking orders directly from your customers (depending on your chosen service level), SID puts you firmly back in control with fully up to date information on everything we are doing with all of your orders.

SID is a free application provided by Parker Franklin to their clients. It can only be used by clients who have online accounts with Parker Franklin at www.ordermyphotos.co.uk. It provides you with a relatively real time view of the current state of all the orders that we are processing or have processed for you, statistics on your events, statistics on your pack sales and quick and easy generation of one off orders (typically orders that are drifting in late). SID is based very much on our own back end software and some features and aspects of SID are determined by this relationship.

Each of our clients has a SID database that is unique to them and password protected, so no other photographer can ever get access to your sales data. This database is loaded up to the internet several times a day and the latest copy can be download by SID at any time.

There are many different views available in SID, allowing you to monitor all of your sales data in a wide variety of ways. The view above is just one example where you can quickly see the current status of any order; when it was placed, printed, packed etc. Some of the other views available are detailed below,

  Generating Orders From SID  
  In much the same way as OrderGen, SID can also be used to generate orders, with the added advantage that they are automatically sent in to Parker Franklin by SID itself. Whilst OrderGen is far easier for creating a large batch of orders, SID is better for doing one off orders, such as late arriving orders. The interface is essentially the same as the OrderGen interface.  
     

  Products View

The products view allows you to see the relative sales of each of the different packs you are offering, either for individual events or across all events. Quickly see which packs are your best sellers and make informed decisions on pricing based on this information.		  
     

  Sales View

The Sales view allows you to see the value of all your sales, how much commission is due on them, what the printing charges are and what your income is.		  
     

  Event Statistics View

The Event Statistics view presents useful summary information on each of your events; total orders, % take up, total revenue, average revenue per order, income, average income per order etc.		  
     

  Reports  
  SID allows a number of different reports to be generated from both the sales and the statistics views. These reports are output to CSV files (a common spreadsheet and database format) that can be read into any spreadsheet or database package such as Excel allowing you to do you own more detailed analysis of the data.

You can even use these reports to do mail merging and set up mail shots to all your customers.
